City Welcomes the Arrival of Two Electric Buses

Two electric buses and one electric minibus parked at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jakarta, Thursday (1/15) morning.

It is energy saving, emission and engine durability guarantee for more than 15 years

The three electric buses are made by PT Sarimas Ahmadi Pratama, one of Indonesian electric bus manufacturers who are selling new technologies for public transportation in Jakarta.

President Director of PT Sarimas Ahmadi Pratama, Dasep Ahmadi said the company introduced its electric-powered buses to the city government.

He revealed, many benefits gained by using of these electric bus if the city government uses for mass transportation in Jakarta.

"I believe this electric bus will be useful for transport in the capital. It is energy saving, emission and engine durability guarantee for more than 15 years," said Ahmadi.

He explained, his side produces two types of buses as the large bus with a capacity of 60 passengers and medium size with a capacity of 20 passengers.

"This bus uses battery to be charged for 2 hours and can be used to travel along 250 kilometers," he explained.
