City to Appeal of BMW Park Land Dispute

Jakarta Provincial Government will appeal the land dispute of Bersih Manusiawi Wibawa (BMW) Park in the Papanggo Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district. The appeal comes up due to City Government's defeat in a lawsuit of land ownership by the State Administrative Court (PTUN).

The land is the obligation of the developer to the city government. The land handover with a value equivalent to Rp 700 billion was done in the era of Jakarta Governor Sutiyoso. The handover was done through a transfer report (BAST). Unfortunately, the developer did not certify the land before submitted to the city government at that time. PT Buana Permata Hijau is the party who claimed the land. They have an area of 7 hectares in the BMW Park, and 3 acres of which were given to the city administration by other developers.
The city government has 14 days after the decision to prepare the appeal file.
