Here is Progress of Jakarta MRT Construction Work Phase 2A CP201

The construction work of the MRT Jakarta Phase 2A CP201 (Bundaran HI - Harmoni) which consists of Monas and Thamrin stations has entered the construction stage at the entrance area.

The first gate to be built is Entrance - 1 Monas MRT Station, which is located on Jalan Museum and Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat.

PT MRT Jakarta's Corporate Secretary Division Head Rendi Alhial said that the construction of the entrance area used the box jacking method, which is a construction method for making underground tunnels through the process of pushing precast boxes segment by segment into the ground using a hydraulic jack.

As one of the stages of preparation for the construction work of Monas Station Entrance-1, test pit work would be executed at five points to identify and confirm the exact position of several underground utility networks that intersect with Entrance-1 construction work, such as PLN electricity cables, fiber optics, and PAM water pipes.

During the utility network test pit work, there will be a narrowing of the lane at some points on Jalan Museum:

1. August 18 to September 7, 2022

- MNS TP-22 and TP-25 test pits on Jalan Museum and inside the National Museum building area, there will be a narrowing of Jalan Museum lane in the test pit area

2. September 8 to 30, 2022

- MNS TP-23 and TP-24 test pits on Jalan Museum and inside the Kemenkominfo building area, there will be a narrowing of the Museum Road lane in this area

3. September 26 to October 29, 2022

- MNS TP-21 test pit, located in the median of Jalan Merdeka Barat, and has no impact on traffic along Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat
