There is no problem now. I said not all DPRD members' idea is the same with Jakarta government
Jakarta Provincial Government's step to delete socialization budget amounting to Rp 8.8 trillion proposed by Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) in the 2015 Draft City Budget (RAPBD), is getting a support from DPRD. The polemic was ended after Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama held a meeting at City Hall, Monday (1/19), along with DPRD Chairman Edi Prasetyo Marsudi and Vice Chairman of DPRD Triwisaksana.
"There is no problem now. I said not all DPRD members' idea is the same with Jakarta government. Some do not attend, but they contacted me to give support. Almost all members support our policy. There will no longer purchase of fictitious items in future," said Ahok, at City Hall, Monday (1/19).
Met Ahok, DPRD Clarified Stealth Budgets IssueHe acknowledged the findings of the stealth budget proposal called as vision and mission in the RAPBD is due to miss communication between Jakarta government and DPRD. Jakarta government rejected the proposal because of the application of budget allocation has been locked in an e-budgeting system.
"Definitely, I didn't receive and reject the proposal regarding socialization budget for Governor Decree, guidance, and so on. I do not want this to happen again in future," he asserted.
He disclosed such proposal was already deleted due to Jakarta government did not want the Development and Finance Surveillance Agency (BPKP) to re-find the stealth budget with fictitious activities in the APBD as last year's findings.
"Actually, the e-budgeting system was applied in 2014. However, many elements refused it. Surely, there are elements from Bappeda or BPKD play behind this, including DPRD members, right? We do not know, that's why we include the budget using e-budgeting system. I have also deleted fictitious budget. Anyone who are still playing, I will beat them," asserted Ahok.
