Djarot Checked the Leaking Levee in Pluit

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat once again did impromptu visits or blusukan to Kali Asin area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Wednesday (7/21). His arrival is aimed to follow up citizens' report regarding the leaking levee.

After he arrived, Djarot immediately made a dialogue with some local people. He then down the leaking levee as long as 1 kilometer while riding a motorcycle owned by citizen along with Pluit Urban Village Head, Purnomo. Before that, he took time to check a Muara Angke Bridge's pump house.

"I received information regarding the leaking levee.  I worried it will collapse, it must be anticipated," he expressed, Wednesday (1/21).

Head of Pluit Urban Village, Purnomo admitted he was embarrassed when he was offered to ride the motorcycle along with Mr. Vice Governor. He asks a lot of information about Pluit and made dialogue to find solutions for repairing such levee.

"I feel chills when being piggybacked by Mr. Djarot. But he told to remain calm, so I join him," he uttered.
