This Week, Pedestrian Walkway Development in Rawa Badak Reservoir Area Completed

The development of a pedestrian walkway in Rawa Badak Reservoir area, Rawa Badak Selatan Urban Village, Koja Sub-district, almost completed. Its development covers the south and west side of the reservoir area.

The pedestrian walkway can be used this week

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Ilham Raya said the pedestrian walkway in Rawa Badak Reservoir area has been developed since early 2022 and is officially targeted for completion in August 2022.

"The pedestrian walkway can be used this week. The finishing is just installing benches and decorative lights," he expressed, Friday (9/16).

According to him, the total length of the pedestrian walkway built was 800 meters. The width of each point varies between 2-4 meters following the geographical contours of the location.

This pedestrian has disability guide tiles, benches, bollards, lights, and parks.

The pedestrian area was previously a reservoir bank often used illegal parking and street vendors (PKL).

"We are building pedestrian walkway as a continuation of the arrangement and beautification of the Rawa Badak Reservoir area," he stated.
