MRT Jakarta Provides Public Information Center in Kota Tua Area

PT MRT Jakarta has prepared a public information center (Galeri MRT Jakarta) in Kota Tua area, precisely inside Kota Station or Beos Station.

We also use Hololens technology and interactive projectors in visualizing Kota Station

This information center will become an information center for the development of MRT Jakarta's phase 2 project, especially for Kota Tua area.

PT MRT Jakarta President Director, Mohamad Aprindy said the information center would have a mockup of the Kota Station after it was completed.

Including archaeological findings in the construction area around Monas and Thamrin, then television screens showing various information such as videos about MRT Jakarta, animations, mockups of Kota Station, and mockups of rolling stock.

There are also tunnel boring machine (TBM) mockups, video building information modeling (BIM) phase 2 construction, various infographics, photo angles with the background of the Jakarta MRT tunnel, and a relaxing area for discussion.

“We also use Hololens technology and interactive projectors in visualizing Kota Station," he expressed, Friday (9/16).

"As a complement, we also provide ticket sales for the Kota Tua MRT Jakarta special edition and some typical MRT Jakarta souvenirs," he added.

He explained that the Jakarta MRT Gallery in Kota Tua is supported by consultants Bentley software solutions and services that can be accessed from the west parking area on the north side of Beos Station and the station platform area.

The information center itself is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM and can be accessed from the west parking area of the North side of Beos Station and the platform area of the Kota Commuterline station.

"We are also making the MRT Jakarta gallery in Monas area that can be visited by the public," he stated.
