Its launching was marked by the cutting of the ribbon by Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and PT Jakarta Tourisindo President Director Novita Dewi on Monday (9/26) at Jalan Cikini Raya.

"I really appreciate this breakthrough. We can know more about the history of the place and what is in this area. Hope the trip to Jakarta will be rich in experiences," he expressed, Tuesday (9/27).

PT Jakarta Tourisindo President Director, Novita Dewi explained that JSX is smart signage that combines elements of education, information, art, and technology. It was expected to encourage people's interest to explore the city on foot.

She went on to say that the public can access videos of the history of the area where JSX is located, information on tourist spots within a one-kilometer radius, charging stations, and area maps. It also brings unique experiences through augmented reality technology.

"We can also find JSX in various urban tourism locations, with the pilot project in Cikini," she continued.

With augmented reality technology, JSX is capable of visualizing 2D and 3D objects that are projected into the real world. Users can see how hot air balloons, elang bondol (brahminy kite), or trains seem to come out of JSX and approach users who are in the real world.

"This moment can be fun in itself, especially for young people and content creators," she added.

According to her, the regional history video feature in JSX was compiled by independent journalist Aji Sayuti and involved historian J.J Rizal who verified the accuracy of the historical video of the area.

"Therefore, we invite prompt parties to collaborate in exploring creative ideas, thus JSX can be used as activation of public spaces and become an attraction for the community. Hope there will be more opportunities for JSX to be present in every corner of Jakarta, accompanying those who want to know more about their beloved city," she stated.

Kitaoneus Asia Chairwoman, Maria Ulfah appreciated the presence of JSX which she thought would give a new color to the experience in Jakarta.

"This is a public space media that provides space for neurodiversity artists, thus we can all learn to understand their work from their perspective," she said.

As for the information, there are three works featured on JSX. The first work is the work of Afield Wibowo who is currently studying at an Extraordinary School. In his work, he describes Jakarta as a melting pot. This work is intentionally untitled, as he hopes that everyone who sees his work can interpret this work according to their expectations.

The second work is a painting by Raissa Alyaa Rizqi entitled Enjoy Jakarta. In this stroke, she expresses the colors of Jakarta which are beautifully summarized in a work.

The last work is the work of Clive Verrel. Autism is not an obstacle for him to channeling the talents he has. The work entitled Jakarta Kita was inspired by the hectic Jakarta as a metropolitan city.

With all the elements of the city that he displays in his work, he wants to show the characteristics of Jakarta which he recognizes as his beloved city.
