The infiltration well construction in East Jakarta keeps being boosted. Of 2,000 targeted points, 1,500 have been realized.
According to Muhammad Anwar, Mayor of East Jakarta, his party routinely monitors the development of infiltration wells in 65 urban villages every Tuesday and Friday, while riding bicycles with his staff.

He hoped that more wells can be built in urban and sub-district areas that are prone to flooding, thus the benefits can be felt by residents.
