1,712 People Enliven Jakarta Planting Movement

The Jakarta Planting Movement, which was held simultaneously on Wednesday (9/28) managed to attract 1,712 participants in 224 locations.

Hopefully, it will be useful for all communities participating in simultaneous planting activities

Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security (KPKP) Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati expressed her gratitude and gratitude to the community and stakeholders who have participated in this activity.

"Hopefully, it will be useful for all communities participating in simultaneous planting activities. We also expect that they continue to be active and the plants planted today can be harvested and enjoyed the results," she expressed, Thursday (9/29).

She explained that this year's planting movement carried the theme "Jakarta Plants for Food Security". It is one form of implementation of the strategic steps to anticipate the impact of the increase in fuel oil number 8, namely, promoting the planting movement

"Hope this activity can reduce household expenses," she explained.

One of public figures, Vicky Shu expressed that the Jakarta Planting Movement was very interesting and inspiring.

"We can do urban farming even on limited land. This is very useful in maintaining food security for families and surrounding communities, preventing stunting and anticipating the impact of rising fuel prices," she stated.

As for the information, the activity was held in collaboration with OPD, BUMD, and other stakeholders. It was enlivened by Abang and None 2022 couple as MC and a public figure who is one of the environmental and child observers, Vicky Shu.
