2,500 Packaged Rice Meals Distributed to Flood Victims in Five Urban Villages

The East Jakarta Social Sub-agency, distributed 2,500 packaged rice meals and mineral water for residents affected by floods n five urban villages, Monday (10/10).

According to Purwono, Sub-agency Head of East Jakarta Social, the food was given for lunch and would be sent through the urban village office.

"We send them after receiving a request from residents and the urban village," he said.

Of 2,500 packaged rice meals, 1,000 were distributed to Cililitan, 600 were distributed to Balekambang, 200 were distributed to Kampung Melayu, 500 were distributed Bidara Cina, and 200 were distributed to Gedong.

Aside that, the sub-agency also prepared five boxes of biscuits for them.

"Hope it can lighten their burden. We are always ready to help," he stated.
