Jakarta Bapemperda Agrees on 35 Proposed Draft Bylaws

The Jakarta council's legislation body (Bapemperda), approved 35 draft bylaws to be discussed in the program for the formation of 2023 bylaws (Propemperda). The agreement was approved in a joint meeting of the legislature and executive at the Grand Cempaka Resort and Convention, Cipayung, Bogor, West Java, Wednesday (11/3) yesterday.

According to Pantas Nainggolan, Chairman of Jakarta DPRD's Bapemperda, the determination of the 2023 Propemperda was based on a priority scale. He asked regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to increase synergy, performance, and discipline to discuss the draft bylaws that have been set. It was because the draft bylaws discussed were related to the problems that occurred in Jakarta
"We want better work from the executive and the legislature regarding this Propemperda," he stated.
Most DPRD Factions Support Two Draft Bylaws Filed by Acting GovernorJakarta Legal Bureau Head, Yayan Yuhanah revealed his readiness to run the tasks of the 35 priority proposals that had been set in the Propemperda. He hoped that the process of further discussion with Bapemperda could run smoothly.
"InsyaAllah, the OPD who proposed everything is ready. The proposed draft bylaws also have an academic text and a draft in it, thus only the finishing process has not yet entered the Legal Bureau," added.
