Pembangunan Waduk Halim Perdanakusuma Capai 95 Persen

December, Halim Perdanakusuma Reservoir Construction Completed

We target to finish it by the end of this year

Construction of the Halim Perdanakusuma Reservoir which is located in Cipinang Melayu Urban Village, Makasar, East Jakarta is targeted for completion in December. Currently, the work progress has reached 95 percent.

East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar said the reservoir built on two-hectare land was to overcome the inundation that occurred in the surrounding area, especially in RW 02 Cipinang Melayu.

Here is the Progress of 942 Program as of October 28, 2022

"We are accelerating the construction of the inlet and outlet in order to prevent flooding in the peak of rain in the upcoming January 2023," he said, when he was doing a site inspection, Tuesday (11/15) yesterday.

To accelerate the construction, he coordinated with the East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA), Environmental Sub-agency, Water Agency UPK for Jakarta Environment Agency, and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma.

Maintenance Division Head, Puryanto added that there are three heavy pieces of equipment deployed at the site every day. The types are two long-arm excavators and one amphibious.

"We target to finish it by the end of this year," he asserted.

His party had coordinated with the East Jakarta Environment Sub-agency and Water Agency UPK for the process of disposing of dredged waste to the Bantargebang TPST.

"Most of the results of dredging this land are filled with garbage, instead of mud. Because the land used was formerly an illegal garbage dump," he uttered.

Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma Marsda Indonesian Military (TNI) Tedi Rizalihadi asserted that his party supports this project, as it is for the benefit of residents in anticipating the emergence of flooding during the rainy season.

"Hope it can be finished soon to prevent flooding," he hoped.
