The Anti-Violence Talk Show presenters were delivered by UNFPA and IOM facilitators, who have experience in handling cases of gender-based violence and violence in the workplace.
The MH Thamrin room, Floor 2 of Building B Mayor of West Jakarta was chosen as the location for holding a full campaign with participants and invitations to listen to the directions of Jakarta PKK Mobilization Team Acting Chairperson, Ms. Mirdiyanti Heru Budi Hartono who was accompanied by Dharma Wanita Jakarta Association Chairperson, Ms. Komariah Marullah Matali.
TP PKK Acting Chairperson symbolically gave 200 packages of assistance for the specific needs of children to children who are members of the West Jakarta City Children's Forum. The West Jakarta administration also launched a Child-Friendly School (SRA) and a Child-Friendly Community Health Center (PRA), which was marked by an emphasis on sirens by the West Jakarta Administration and Welfare Assistant. It was also attended by West Jakarta PKK Mobilization Team Chairperson.
Public enthusiasm for the Anti-Violence Talkshow was quite high. Bank DKI for West Jakarta Branch also provided door prizes for participants with the best questions. There were many questions from the participants during the talk show guided by UPT P2TP2A counselors.
The message from the 16-day campaign for anti-violence against women and children must start from the individual and it is hoped that it will become a community movement. This community movement is one of the efforts to prevent violence against women and children in realizing Jakarta, a Women-Friendly City and Caring for Children.
