Karang Taruna Meets Heru Describes 2019-2024 Work Program

The Jakarta Karang Taruna Youth Organization board met with the Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono at the Jakarta City Hall.

This meeting was held in order to explain the Jakarta Karang Taruna Youth Organization Work Program for the 2019-2024 period and to strengthen cooperation with the Jakarta Provincial Government which has existed so far.

Jakarta Karang Taruna Chairman. Muhammad Mul said that the agenda would be carried out in the future as a rainy season alert. It will be participated by cadres of Jakarta Karang Taruna in Monas on December 20, 2022.

Aside that, he also conveyed related to the cadre of youth organizations from the village to the province. Hopefully, these cadres could become militant cadres and understand their functions and duties as Jakarta Karang Taruna Youth Organization administrators.

"We convey the work program this year and also next year. This is a good moment for us to do this activity. Besides that, friends can stay in touch with Mr. Acting Governor," he expressed, Thursday (12/1).

He explained that the Jakarta Karang Taruna is also designing a creative school concept for cadres which aims to improve working capital and entrepreneurial skills for cadres by utilizing the Sasana Krida Karang Taruna (SKKT) building.

“This is important enough for us to take advantage of. Hopefully, we will build this creative school in each SKKT. We plan to start next year," he explained.

He added that they also made a breakthrough by creating the Jakhope or Jakarta Harapan Program to help improve the economy of underprivileged people. One of them was integrating Jakhope with Integrated Entrepreneurship Development or Jakpreneur coordinating with the Jakarta PPKUKM Agency.

"Alhamdulillah, Mr. Heru supports it. He has opened cooperation with other agencies, including with us, thus we can collaborate well," he stated.
