The Seribu Islands District Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopomkab), held a coordination meeting for security ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays, at the Ibis Styles Sunter Hotel, North Jakarta.

Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi said during the Christmas and New Year holidays, tourist attractions in Seribu Islands are still favorite locations for local and foreign tourists. Therefore, special preparations need to be made for conducive holiday momentum.
"Like security, it needs to be tightened starting from the departure gate and when returning flow," he expressed, Friday (12/16).

Therefore, the meeting was expected to strengthen the synergy of all existing stakeholders starting from elements of the National Army (TNI)/Police, Kesyahbandaran Office, Port Authority (KSOP), Satpol PP, Transportation Agency, and Seribu Islands Regency administration.

Seribu Islands Resort Police Operation Division Head, Com. Pol. Rudi Herawan said there are nine points for tourist attractions that are a priority for security in this year's Christmas and New Year holidays. They are Putri Island, Ayer Island, Bidadari Island, Pasir Perawan Beach, Bintang Beach (Pari Island), Sakura Beach, Kampung Jepang (Untung Jawa Island), Jembatan Cinta (Love Bridge), and Tidung Kecil Island.
"We also made an integrated security post involving all elements on Tidung Island, Pari Island, and Untung Jawa Island in South Seribu Islands, as well as Harapan Island and Pramuka Island for North Seribu Islands region," he closed.
