75 Joint Personnel Clean Up Ceger Underpass

Some 75 joint personnel work together to clean up the Ceger Underpass on Jalan Raya Mabes Hankam, RT 001/002 Ceger, Cipayung, East Jakarta, Sunday (12/18).

This is a form of synergy between the ranks of the city government and the community

In the activity led by Cipayung Sub-district Head, Panangaran Ritonga, those personnel cleaned the walls and roof of the underpass, as well as painted the kanstine to make it look sleeker.

While the walls and the top of the underpass were sprayed using a fire engine. Then the bottom was sprayed with liquid, then rinsed and brushed.

Ceger Urban Village Head, Suratno said that the cleanup action was carried out to create a sense of comfort to residents and road users. Moreover, the underpass area was dirty already.

"This is a form of synergy between the ranks of the city government and the community," he expressed.

According to him, those 75 joint personnel were from urban village, sub-district, Transportation Executing Unit, Satpol PP, PKLH Staff, Ceger Urban Village LMK, RT/RW administrators, FKDM, PPSU.

There were also Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat), Environment Task Force, Parks and City Forest Sub-agency, PKK caders, Jumantik, Dasawisma, and other elements.

RW 01 Ceger Chairman, Yanto Sudarto appreciated the cleanup action like this because the environment was cleaner and more comfortable.

"The clean environment makes people feel enjoy. That's why we really support activities like this, for the sake of cleanliness and comfort of the environment," he closed.
