"Happy 94th Mother's Day. This is a momentum and a milestone in the history of the Indonesian Women's Congress. At that time, women gave a big revolution that women could be equal to men," he expressed.

According to him, Indonesian women already had awareness as autonomous 'subjects' who actively contributed to the life of the nation and state. The figure of women cannot also be separated from national development in the medium- and long-terms. Principally, Indonesian women were able to go hand in hand with men in developing the country.

"There have been many women in politics, career women, and others. Therefore, we as men need to support them. They make up almost half of Indonesia's population," he said.

He also prompted Indonesian women to continue working, to become independent, creative, innovative, confident, and continue to improve their quality and capabilities.

"The commemoration of Mother's Day belongs to all of us. Let's continue this struggle wherever you are. Make women empowered, children protected, and Indonesia will progress," he asserted.
