No Car Free Day for Christmas and New Year Holidays

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to eliminate Car Free Day (CFD) for Christmas and New Year, Sunday (12/25) and Sunday (1/1).

Car Free Day will be held again on Sunday (1/8)

Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, Syafrin Liputo, admitted no Car Free Day for those two holidays. It was aimed at maximizing public security and traffic engineering in the field.

It complies with the Gubernatorial Regulation No. 12/2016 on Car Free Day, article 5 paragraph (1).

"Car Free Day will be held again on Sunday (1/8)," he expressed.

During Car Free Night (CFN), he added Jalan Sudirman and Jalan MH Thamrin would be closed.

'It is done from 4 PM to 2 AM," he closed.
