Around 1,760 janitors of Jakarta Environment Agency (LH) are ready to keep the churches clean in the forthcoming Christmas celebrations.

Jakarta LH Agency Head, Asep Kuswanto disclosed his party had prepared an operational plan, task force, waste handling facilities, and fleet, as well as 40 janitors in each sub-district.
"I have instructed janitors to maintain the cleanliness of the church environment in their respective assigned areas. Even though they are on holiday, they are still working as usual," he said, Wednesday (12/21).

"They will be deployed to high churches like Katedral Church, Emanuel Church, Ayam Church, Advent Church, Pasar Minggu HKBP, Theresia Church, and Tiberias Indonesia Church," he explained.
Aside that, other janitors would also be on standby in tourist sites such as Monas, Ragunan Zoo, Ancol Area, Kota Tua, and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
"We back up the cleanliness of them to ensure the quality of service that residents feel," he explained.
At several tourist attractions and crowd centers, there were also toilet buses, automatic road sweepers, dust bins, and motorcycle cart officers who sweep the garbage every two hours.
"To give the best result, we open canals and complaint hotlines for handling garbage. Besides via CRM in the JAKI application, the public can also convey it via social media," he closed.
