Spatial and Land Planning Division Head, Yanuar Riyadi said that the stages of development on the land owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government would begin in the first quarter of 2023 and were targeted to be completed that year.
"The initial phase focuses on building a prayer room and culinary center which will use funds from the Jakarta Baznas (Bazis) and North Jakarta Baznas (Bazis)," he expressed, Thursday (12/29).
TMII Limits 60,000 Visitors on New Year's EveAccording to him, several facilities to be built include a green open space as wide as 2,880 square meters consisting of a plaza, green belt, seating area, and children's playground. Then the culinary zone contains an MSME culinary center with a capacity of 24 tenants and an outdoor dine-in seating area of 210 square meters.
There will also be a multifunctional sports field area in the form of a 467-square-meter field. Other facilities such as a prayer room are also being built on the 356-square-meter land.
For vehicle parking, it will be built on a 1,243-square-meter land with a parking capacity of four minibusses, 24 cars, and 50 motorbikes. Further, supporting facilities such as toilets, landmarks, information signage, guard posts, CCTV, WiFi, garden lights, and so on will also be found in the park.
"To realize it, we use City Budget (APBD) from each related UKPD according to program indications," he added.
He added the name Cincin Park was inspired by the identity of the Ring Reservoir as another name for the North Sunter Reservoir and the ring circle which symbolizes the wave shape and describes the location in the coastal area of North Jakarta. While the circle as an organic form is in harmony and synergy with the Ring Reservoir and the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area.
The Cincin Park location is an area barrier between private housing and the public tourism area around the Ring Reservoir. Located close to JIS, Ring Reservoir and North Sunter Reservoir City Forest, Cincin Park has the potential to become a favorite recreation area for Jakartans.
"Hopefully, the park can be a third space. This is a space for play, education, tourism, and gathering for the community and residents," he stated.
