Overall, 1,800 of 2,000 buildings were demolished this early February in RT 16 and RT 19/17, Penjaringan Urban village, Penjaringan Sub-district.

Heriyanto, Executive of Jakarta Reservoir and River Normalization said, after the demolition process is done, his side will immediately clean the mud to deepen the reservoir and build the road and park on the wet section.
"We will also restore the function of Gandong River that located at the wet section after all this normalization project is done," he said.
