East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardhana along with his subordinates held communal work to clean the environment on Jalan Tanjung Sangyang, RW 08 Cawang Urban village, Sunday (2/8).

"The citizens here are often do the environment cleaning to prevent the flood disaster. The citizen’s awareness in this flood prone area is also good," said Musyawardhana in sidelines of the communal work, Sunday (2/8).

On the occasion, the mayor also ased to plant the trees in RW 08 to makes the area more beautiful. Moreover, his side is also ready to make an offer of citizen's vacant land to be built as Green Open Space (RTH) at the area.

" Later, we will give compensation to the citizen's land that affected by waterway project. Then, we will also build Green Open Space at there ," added Musyawardhana.

However, his side still waits the letter from Public Works (PU) Ministry related to the waterways project.

"If the letter has been delivered, we will socialize to the citizens," told him.

Head of RW 08, Dadang admitted, the citizens often asking the compensation.

"The citizens hoped there is certainty related to this Government project,” he hoped.
