Inundation, Rorotan Citizens Opted to Stay at Home

The flood has been ongoing since today around 7 AM, following torrential rain that showered the capital and its surrounding area since Saturday (1/31).
Chairman of RT 03/05 Kasepatan Village, Tohir explains local citizens are still reluctant to take refuge, even though their residential inundated.

"If it is needed, we will set up refugee camp and public kitchen soon," he stressed.
He told, the condition is exacerbated by residential's geographical contours located on the side of Cakung Drain River. "Kasepatan Village position is low and under the Cakung Drain River. That's why water cannot flow well," he explained.
