'JakLingko Integration Tariff Program' Nominated for 2023 Global Awards Transport Ticketing

PT JakLingko Indonesia has the opportunity to be one of the finalists for the prestigious Transport Ticketing Global Awards 2023 with the theme 'Shaping The Future of Smart Ticketing and Mobility.'

This program has also been highlighted and appreciated by foreign countries

JakLingko Indonesia has been named a finalist in the 'Most Innovative Customer Serving Operator' category in the JakLingko Integrated Fare in Jakarta Indonesia program.

PT JakLingko Indonesia President Director, Muhamad Kamaluddin said stated that the inclusion of JakLingko Indonesia as a nominee with the Integration Tariff program gives a sense of pride, especially at this international event.

He hoped that the implementation of the integrated tariffs would provide great benefits for transportation users in Jakarta.

"This program has also been highlighted and appreciated by foreign countries, thus it is included in the category of events that involve great competitors from other countries. It is a new achievement for JakLingko Indonesia to continue to improve service innovation for the community," he expressed, Monday (1/30).

He explained PT JakLingko Indonesia through the development of a technology platform is committed to contributing to increasing the number of public transport users, especially in Jakarta.

"JakLingko is trying to expand to other areas to support the Jakarta administration and the Transportation Ministry's programs in parsing congestion and facilitating citizen mobility," he explained.

He added that it is the second year that PT JakLingko Indonesia has been nominated for an award in the transportation sector.

Previously, PT JakLingko Indonesia won the 'Highly Commended Smart Ticketing Program' award at the Transport Ticketing Global Award in 2022 for the Best Smart Ticketing Program (200k+ Daily Journey) category which took place in Olympia, London, England.

"This award marks the success of PT JakLingko Indonesia as a pioneer in integrator of public transportation payment systems which are currently used for four modes of transportation namely MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, Transjakarta, and Commuterline in Jakarta and its surrounding areas," he added.

As for the information, the awarding ceremony and the Gala Dinner will be held from March 7 to 8, 2023 and will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel, Olympia, London, England.

At the same moment, Thales as a strategic partner supporting the performance of the JakLingko Indonesia system was also entered as a finalist in the 'Ticketing Enabler of The Year' category.

Other candidates in the same category include DBUS, Flytag - Get Greater Wellington Regional Council: Snapper on Rail, Park&Ride with Transport Connect (Transport for New South Wales), Train Busyness Indicators (Arriva Trains), and Transformation of the Public Transport Infrastructure of Mexico City to Address Urban Inequalities in the Metropolitan Area (Mobility Ministry SEMOVI).
