JakLingko Showcases Payment System Integration of Intermodal Transportation in Bali

PT JakLingko Indonesia showcased an integrated payment system between modes of transportation currently implemented in the Greater Jakarta area at the Indonesian Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI) in Nusa Dua, Bali from July 11 to 15, 2022.

This moment is an additional milestone and a very good opportunity for JakLingko Indonesia

PT JakLingko Indonesia President Director Muhamad Kamaluddin appreciated Bank Indonesia and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs as hosts that actively support and embrace digital innovation actors to be involved at the festival.

“This moment is an additional milestone and a very good opportunity for JakLingko Indonesia to keep moving forward following the rapid development of digitalization. Especially the payment system which is our main focus," he expressed, Monday (7/18).

JakLingko Program Wins Highly Commended Smart Ticketing Programme Award

He explained that the company introduced payment system digitization services on public transportation at this international scale event. Visitors got information on how to use the JakLingko application, which makes it easy to transfer commuters between modes with just one ticket purchase.

His party was also conducting a travel simulation by applying an integration rate if booking a ticket for more than one mode of travel for the first time.

As for the information, the integration fare is a new policy that is currently still under discussion and waiting for approval from the Jakarta government after previously being approved by the Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD).

“In the integration fare scheme, public transportation users get the benefit of cheaper fares. For instance, passengers only spend a maximum of Rp 10,000 when using more than one mode, such as Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta," he closed.
