Manhole Cover on Jalan HR Rasuna Said Repaired

The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is repairing the water channel's manhole cover on Jalan HR Rasuna Said, Kuningan Timur Urban Village, Setiabudi Sub-district, precisely near Kuningan Timur Transjakarta Bus Stop's Pedestrian Bridge (JPO).

Repair is carried out, because of dirty, dull, and broken

South Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Maintenance Division Head, Junjung said that the channel's manhole cover which has a width and height of one meter is carried out up to 30 meters long.

"Repair is carried out, because of dirty, dull, and broken," he expressed, Friday (2/3).

It has been ongoing since four days ago by nine workers. They conduct it by elevating its manhole cover as high as 15 centimeters, which is divided into seven blocks with the length of each block varying from three to eight meters.

They also made four boxes of drainage control with a width of 60 centimeters each to make it easier for officers to clean the channels.

"So far, the progress has touched 80 percent and is targeted to be completed this week. We also do dredging at the location," he stated.
