Make interesting innovations to increase tourist visits
The urban village heads in Seribu Islands were instructed to innovate in arranging the area. One of them is by aligning environmental management with tourist destinations in their respective regions.
That statement was asserted by Seribu Islands Regent, Junaedi on Monday (2/6). According to him, the arrangement concept should support tourism in his area.
Locals Appreciate Area Arrangement Program in Kampung Bali"We have to arrange the area to create new tourist spots or tourist destinations on each island, to attract tourist visits," he said, Tuesday (2/7).
He appreciated the Panggang Island and Pari Island urban village heads who had integrated regional planning with tourism spots and received the 2023 Best Urban Village Level Management award certificate from Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono.
"I tell them (urban village heads) to immediately use existing government land to make it an attractive location. Make interesting innovations to increase tourist visits," he asserted.
He also urged the regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to assist them in carrying out arrangements in the region. One of them was the Seribu Islands Technical Work Unit (UKT) 2, which is in charge of landscaping.
"There must be two this month, namely South and North Seribu islands sub-districts which are laid out with a park," he stated.
