Here is DPRD Chairman Pras' Hope for Newly City Secretary

As reported earlier, the Jakarta Acting Governor Heru Budi Hartono appointed the newly City Secretary at Great Hall, Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (2/15).

Hopefully, Jakarta can get better and the Jakarta Government's target for priority in 2024 can be completed

Various expectations came out from various circles for today's City Secretary inauguration. One of them is Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi who also attended the inauguration.

He welcomed the organizational refresh in this executive. He hoped that the new City Secretary could solve various problems in Jakarta and focus on budget execution.

"Today, the Acting Governor has inaugurated the new City Secretary, Joko Agus Setyono who previously served at the Bali Audit Board (BPK)," he expressed, Wednesday (2/15).

According to him, there is currently a complication of budget discussions that are out of sync between the executive and legislature. Hence, with presence of Mr. Steyono, budget management is expected to be better than before.

"Hopefully, Jakarta can get better and the Jakarta Government's target for priority in 2024 can be completed," he expressed.

He assessed that based on career track, he understands finances. Thus, it is believed he is able to work together in creating good performance results.

"The Jakarta Regional Government Budget Team (TAPD) which he chairs can be even more successful," he added.

In the same place, City Secretary, Joko Agus Setyono said that he would immediately succeed the Acting Governor's program.

"I'm grateful for being entrusted with being the City Secretary. My job is to help the Acting Governor for better Jakarta," he stressed.
