The plan for a special discussion regarding the security of the Jakarta Government assets was stated by Law and Human Rights Minister Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly after meeting with the Acting Governor.
"We will discuss it later. We will support matters like that, we will talk more specifically," he added.
As for the information, in early August, the DPRD Deliberative Body (Bamus) plenary meeting also approved the formation of a special committee (Pansus) for ownership of assets belonging to the Jakarta Government.
Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman, Misan Samsuri uttered that Pansus was needed to accurately and transparently identify the Jakarta Government's assets which had so far been constrained in the field.
It was hoped that later the executive could be more detailed and serious about recording and safeguarding the assets owned, thus other parties would not take advantage of them.
"Hopefully, Pansus can run as soon as possible, thus it can resolve the problems of the assets," he stated.
