Jakarta Satpol PP has noted that as many as 464 people with social welfare issues (PPKS) in five urban areas have been netted from February 9 to 15, 2023.

They are netted from several streets markets, and other places in five urban areas

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin said the 464 PPKS netted were wagon people, silver people, buskers, beggars, and so on.

"They are netted from several streets markets, and other places in five urban areas," he expressed, Thursday (2/16).

The operation itself involved personnel of Social Agency P3S, police, and army (TNI). They also caught residents from outside Jakarta who deliberately to become PPKS.

"The decision lies in the Jakarta Social Agency, whether they will be returned to their hometown later or not ," he added.

Those had been taken to social institutions to be coached. The same action will be intensified until Eid ul Fitr 2023.

"As we know, PPKS will come massively ahead of Ramadan and Eid ul Fitr," he said.
