Water Flow Cut Off, Citizens Comes to Aetra Office

Dozens of citizens from Block A and Block B, RT 02/10, Kebon Pisang Urban Village, Cilincing, North Jakarta, visit N. Jakarta PAM office on Jalan Tongkol, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, Monday (2/26). They complained about the stopped water supply since last week.
If allowed by flats management, we will realize their demand soon, but if not, we will search the possible area near their place
Previously, as many as 180 householder (KK) in Block A and B got the water supply together with Cilincing flats for past 3 years. But, since last Wednesday (2/11) PT Aetra cut off the water flow because considered as illegal.
One of Block A citizens, Lelly said, she needs to pay Rp 30 thousands per day to buy the water from the water seller after the water flow cut off.
Pure Water Supply Disrupted by Pipe Leakage“Previously, we only need to pay Rp 75 thousands per month. We pay to the management who own the PAM connection in Cilincing flats," she said.
When confirmed, Corporate Communication Manager of PT Aetra, Rika Anjulika justified that her side has controlled illegal water connections in Kebon Kosong settlement, Cilincing. But, to respond citizen's request, her side will investigate the area to analyze the possibility to install master meter in the area.
"If allowed by flats management, we will realize their demand soon, but if not, we will search the possible area near their place," she said.
