West Jakarta Mayor, Yani Wahyu Purwoko, instructed all related regional apparatus organizations (OPD) to have a 24-hour picket team to monitor and handle inundation in West Jakarta.

According to him, it must be realized soon, as recently it has been raining erratically. It aims to anticipate inundation, accelerate the handling of inundation, and help residents.

Aside that, inundation handling in West Jakarta includes maximizing the availability of stationary pumps, mobile pumps, portable pumps, and pumping machines to speed up inundation handling.
