PT Jakpro Gears Up to Smoothen Jakarta E-Prix 2023

PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) says they are ready to facilitate the upcoming Jakarta E-Prix 2023 or popularly called Formula E racing event, which falls on June 3 and 4.

We're also doing some improvements to further optimize that area

PT Jakpro President Director, Iwan Takwin admitted a direct inspection had been carried out at the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) with Formula E Operation (FEO), as the global organizer of electric car racing. This inspection showed the circuit was in decent condition and ready to go.

"We're also doing some improvements to further optimize that area," he expressed, when being interviewed at ABC Mall, Ancol, North Jakarta, Wednesday (3/1).

This event proves that Jakarta is capable and able to give a perfect international scale performance. Besides sports, it also would have an impact on the country's economy.

"Thank you for the encouragement and cooperation with all the elements involved, and your hard work to hold this event again. Surely, it will have a positive impact on the country, especially Jakarta," he explained.

Jakarta E-Prix Direction Commitee, Bambang Soesatyo revealed the Jakarta E-Prix could be better than previous year. Moreover, in this year, it would be a new challenge, but he would give the best results as an organizer.

"As we know, our challenges last year were many, like Covid-19. But, no more this year, we believe we can give the best," he stressed who also serves as Chairman of MPR.

This international racing event is a synergy between JakPro, Artha Graha Group, and the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI). Moreover, these two series are purely business-by-business budgets, instead of using the City Budget (APBD) or State Budget (APBN).

"We wi attract more spectators. Certainly, it will give benefits for MSMEs to improve the economy," he concluded.

Jakarta E-Prix Event Executing Chairperson, Ananda Mikola uttered the event would be made as lively as possible by cooperating with local MSMEs and presenting several live music performances. He targets to have 50,000 spectators.

"This is an honor for us, there will be 11 teams with a total of seven to eight countries that will be performing. We also have various supporting events, thus the audience will feel satisfied," he closed.
