Ramadan is just around the corner and many Muslims have made preparations to cleanse mosques and musala (prayer room).
Certainly, it is done to welcome the holy month of Ramadan
The clean-up action can be seen at one of the mosques, namely At-Tin Mosque in East Jakarta, which is directly observed by Jakarta Environment Agency Head, Asep Kuswanto.
About 60 personnel are involved in the clean-up action at the location from the Makassar Water Body Waste Management Unit (UPS BA) and Makasar Sub-district Environmental Implementation Unit assisted by PPSU from Pinang Ranti Urban Village.
Jakarta Civil Servants' to Work Half Days During RamadanJakarta Environment Agency Head, Asep Kuswanto said it was done by cleaning around the mosque's terraces, parking lots, mosque's main area, and other areas for the convenience of pilgrims in carrying out tarawih worship during Ramadan.
"We've instructed all sub-agencies and environment executing unit in each sub-district to anticipate the cleanliness of the mosque environment and crowd points in their respective task areas," he expressed.
The same action is also spotted in other mosques and musala. It can be seen at the Ar-Rahman Mosque in Menteng Atas Urban Village, Tangkuban Perahu Mosque in Guntur Urban Village, Baiturrahim Mosque and Jami' Nurul Ain Mosque in Duren Sawit Sub-district, Sunan Kalijaga Mosque in Bambu Apus Urban Village, and so on.
