 Unit KIR Mobile Disiagakan di Terminal Kampung Rambutan

KIR Test Services are Available at Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has prepared a mobile KIR test unit service at Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal. The service will be held until D+7 for Idul Fitri 1444 Hijri.

It will operate every day

Pulogadung UP PKB Administration Sub-Division Head, Fatchuri said the KIR mobile unit service at the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal is part of the homecoming and returning flow services.

"This service has been operated since March 21 and will end up to D+7. It will operate every day," he expressed, Thursday (3/23).

Kir Test Services at Ujung Menteng UP PKB Has Returned to Normal

He explained the KIR process is similar to the implementation at the motorized vehicle testing location (PKB). Vehicle checking includes emission tests, car's lighting intensity, and brake ability.

"It is part of ensuring all bus transportation vehicles are roadworthy. We send seven personnel to the location every day," he explained.

According to him, the test results had the same legality as the static KIR test results. It would also be integrated with the information system owned by Transportation Ministry.

"The testing time for each vehicle is estimated to be between 20-25 minutes," he explained.

He added registration and payment for the KIR test are carried out online via e-Kir Jakarta application. Registrants can choose the booking menu with the location of the KIR mobile at Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal.

"KIR test payments are also made cashless," he stated.
