The West Jakarta administration is again making arrangements for street vendors (PKL) in Kota Tua area. That is by relocating 100 street vendors to the Finance Ministry building on Jalan Kali Besar Timur, Pinangsia Urban Village, Taman Sari Sub-district.
These 100 street vendors relocated are from Jalan Teh and Jalan Cengkeh
Taman Sari Sub-district Head, Agus Sulaeman said the street vendors' arrangement is carried out in order to create a neat, clean, and beautiful Kota Tua area.
"These 100 street vendors are from Jalan Teh and Jalan Cengkeh," he expressed, Friday (3/31).
380 Joint Personnel to Guard Kota Tua Area from PKLHe stated the Finance Ministry building prepared for street vendors who specifically sell food and drinks had been cleaned, thus it was suitable for street vendors to live in.
Aside that, the building area had also been arranged with partitions for street vendors, equipped with benches and tables. Currently, the building is also occupied by street vendors from Jalan BNI.
"We're doing it persuasively to make them move to the Ministry of Finance building," he stated.
