The Central Jakarta administration and the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BBPOM), examined 30 samples of food products at the Ramadan Benhil Takjil Bazaar, Jalan Bendungan Hilir Raya, Bendungan Hilir, Tanah Abang, Wednesday (4/5).
Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Chaidir disclosed the inspection of food products is a form of the government's commitment and efforts to protect residents from food containing hazardous substances.

Jakarta BBPOM Head, Susan Gracia Arpan explained so far his party has been active in providing education and outreach to traders at the location. By so, all traders understand how to choose safe and healthy ingredients.
"Residents don't need to worry about buying here. For those who want to shop, we urge you to be careful before buying," she stressed.
Nurhayati (50), a resident of Rawamangun, East Jakarta admitted she often shopped at the Benhil Ramadan Takjil Bazaar during Ramadan because the quality of food products at this place was always checked by BBPOM.
"I'm not worried about buying here because it's guaranteed. I bought fried for Rp 10,000 and beef jerky for Rp 20,000," she admitted.
