Jakarta Opens Staple Commodity Bazaar with Affordable Prices

The Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM) holds a bazaar at the Koja Sub-district Office, North Jakarta on March 30 2023 and the Kalideres Sub-district Office, West Jakarta on April 6, 2023.

Hopefully, this bazaar can bring benefits to the community

Jakarta PPKUKM Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said the bazaar is opened to provide staple commodities at affordable prices, while simultaneously reducing food prices during the National Religious Holidays (HBKN) period in the holy month of Ramadhan 1444 Hijri.

"We sell the staples of medium rice, eggs, beef and chicken, flour, sugar, oil, and others. Hopefully, this bazaar can bring benefits to the community and provide peace for the community," she expressed, Thursday (3/30).

Prices of Staple Foods in South Jakarta are Relatively Stable

She added it received support from Trade Ministry in collaboration with various parties from mayors, sub-district heads, urban village heads, Jakarta Entrepreneur members, PKK, Perum Bulog Divre Jakarta, PT PPI, PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, Perumda Dharma Jaya, Interflour Indonesia, PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, PT Pangan Sari Utama Food Resources, PT Lotte Shopping Indonesia, to Primafood.

"We hope that it has a positive impact on the community, and can be utilized to the fullest extent possible," she hoped.
