Law-Abiding Achievement Award Given for 32 Urban Villages

Ministry of Justice and Human Rights rewarded the law-abiding achievement to 32 urban villages in 5 cities in Jakarta. Those urban villages are Kebon Sirih, Cempaka putih, Serdang, and Johar Baru (Central Jakarta). Kramat, Sukapura, Cilincing, Tanjung Priok, Sunter Jaya, Kebon Bawang, Pademangan Barat, and Pademangan Timur (North Jakarta) and Cengkareng Timur, Duri Kepa, Grogol, Kalideres, Tanah Sereal (West Jakarta)
Furthermore, Menteng Dalam, Mampang Prapatan, Karet Semanggi, Cipete Selatan, Tanjung Barat, Gandaria Selatan, and Pancoran (South Jakarta), Duren Sawit, Ujung Menteng, Cipinang Muara, Kayumanis, Pisangan timur, Cakung Barat and Lubang Buaya. Otherwise in Kepulauan Seribu only one urban village that is Tidung Island.

The criterias are underage marriage, low of criminal and low of drug user, also implement 5 things (trash, residential, demonstration, street vendor, and traffic flow).
"Those urban villages were declared by the cooperation between government and regional office of Justice and Human Rights Ministry. There are 275 law-abiding urban villages as the next target around Indonesia this year. Like NTT and South Sulawesi. Jakarta became the pioneer law-abiding area," Eni Nurbaningsih said, (2/25).
Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat stated the officer from those urban villages supposed to keep area safely. They also have to socialize to the residents.
"We thank those urban villages are awarded that achievement. It' still not enough, because all urban villages should get the same award. However, action is more important than the award to make the people understand the law," he disclosed.
