The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Agency opens registration for Abang None (Abnon) Jakarta 2023 from April 7 to May 26, 2022.

Seribu Islands Parekraf Agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan said that since registration opened on Friday (4/7), 15 Abnon candidates have registered.

"Hopefully, many will register until the end of the closing. There is no target from us. But, of course, there will be a selection stage," he expressed, Thursday (4/12).

"We have spread the registration link in all sub-districts to RT/RW. We have also asked the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdawis) to disseminate this registration," he explained.

Here are the requirements to participate in the Abnon Jakarta 2023 selection:

- Indonesian citizenship

- Must have KTP

- Age 18-25 years as of May 2023 (maximum 25 years on the final night) and not married

- 170 cm (male) and 165 cm (female)

- Senior high school (SMA) education equivalent

- Drug-free

- Have a good personality and insightful

- Fluent in communicating in foreign languages

- Have never been a finalist in Abnon at city or district level

He hoped that every Abnon contestant understands Betawi culture and tourist destinations in Seribu Islands, so they can revive tourism in this region.

"There are many advantages to being Abnon. The selected contestants have the opportunity to represent the Seribu Islands Abnon at the Jakarta Provincial level," he stressed.
