6,897 Visitors Swarm to Tebet Eco Park During Idul Fitri Holiday

As many as 6,897 residents have visited Tebet Eco Park, South Jakarta, during the Idul Fitri celebrations from April 23-24, 2023.

Tebet Eco Park Manager, Muhammad Ali mentioned that on the first day of Idul Fitri holidays (4/23), as many as 3,510 visitors visited the Eco Park and 3,387 others recorded on the second day (4/24).

To anticipate the buildup ot visitors, he imposed two visiting sessions. The first session is at 7 AM - 11 AM and the second session is at 1 PM - 5 PM.

"As a rule, if there are too many visitors, we will place temporary restrictions," he expressed, Wednesday (4/26).

During yesterday's Idul Fitri, there were 14,000 poeple who registered to visit via JAKI application, but 6,897 only came.

One of visitors from Cirende, South Tangerang, Nesken (40) revealed his first experience visiting to Tebet Eco Park. He came with his wife and two children since 2 PM using a motorcycle.

At the location, they tried all the facilities and documented all activities, such as walking on the iconic connecting bridge and children's playground.

"The place is beautiful, as if one with nature. Facilities are also complete and comfortable. This is in accordance with what I heard and read. So, I was curious and decided to come here," he admitted.

The same statement also came out from Anggi (30), a resident of Sunter, North Jakarta who was also the first to visit the Tebet Eco Park.

She admitted that she knew Tebet Eco Park from social media and information from friends. Indeed she did not take time off for mudik exodus this year, but she took the time to visit Tebet Eco Park with friends.

"Just want to refreshing with friends. Anyway, the place is shady, the facilities are quite complete. Like a jungle in the city," she admitted.

As for the information, there are eight zones in Tebet Eco Park which represent nature in the middle of the city, namely, on the north side, there is the Tebet Eco Park Plaza, Community Lawn, Thematic Garden, and MSME.

Meanwhile, on the south side, there are Wetland Boardwalk, Community Garden, Children Playground, and Forest Buffer.

As a unification of the North and South sides, there is an iconic bridge called Infinity Link Bridge. To increase to the comfort of visitors, this park is also equipped with park speakers, pet park, and jogging tracks.
