South Jakarta City Administration is about to dealt the undisciplined taxpayers firmly for increasing province receipt from collection of land and building taxes (PBB) sector.

Increasing receipt target of PBB this year is fair, from Rp 2.2 trillions to Rp 2.5 trillions

"If the taxpayers haven't paid for PPB yet till 28 August, admonition and signpost loading can be proceed immediately in order to expand the time," South Jakarta Mayor, Syamsuddin Noor asserted, Thursday (2/26). 

Syamsudin said, there is an increasing receipt target this year. It is concomitant with the increasing of the taxable value of property (NJOP). It is recorded that NJOP in this area is the most expensive up to Rp 200 millions per meter. 

"Increasing receipt target of PBB this year is fair, from Rp 2.2 trillions to Rp 2.5 trillions," said Syamsuddin.

Syamsuddin added, receipt of PBB only get up to 82 percents from the target set last year. However he just gave an admonition for taxpayers in November-Desember by loading deadbeat taxpayers signpost.

Loading a signpost, according to Syamsuddin, is very effective to push taxpayers finish their obligation. Most of taxpayers who have been given the admonition will pay PBB immediately. 

"Last year a few days after we gave admonition, they paid it immediately so it is collected hundreds billion rupiah," added Syamsuddin.

Meanwhile, Vice Head of Jakarta Tax Service Offices, Djuli Zulkarnaen revealed, he will collect the data while distributing SPPT PBB-P2 to taxpayers.

"Collecting data will be done on the field to observe the correctness between tax bills with the real tax object. So if there is an adding, it will be changed immediately," Djuli explained. 

Even so, he continued, the collecting data is preferred to taxpayers who have NJOP more than Rp 10 billions. 

"It is preferred to tax object 0.3 percent that was handled directly by tax offices. Because if there is a little deviation the effect would be significant ," he explained.
