Djarot Blusukan to Technical Department's Office

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidajat did impromptu visit (blusukan) to Technical Department's office at Jalan Jati Baru, Central Jakarta, Thursday (2/26). During his visit, Djarot asked to demolish the old building at the area and replace them with Green Open Space (RTH) and parking lot.

Furthermore, in the same area was also seen the 16-floor building underway project that constructed by Jakarta Housing and Government Building. The plans, the building will be occupied by 3 working provincial unit as Bina Marga, Water Management, and Urban Planning Department that still work in the old building.

Besides that, Djarot also instructed to move the unused old vehicle because makes the area dirty and narrow.
"Who is the owner of this car? Please move it if the car are unused. The vehicle was bad and should not be left here," he complained.
Jakarta Housing and Government Building Head, Ika Lestari Aji said, the new building will ready or soft-launching on upcoming March and will be occupied first by Urban Planning Department.
"We will demolish the old building and we will move all of them (department) to the new one," said Aji.
Aji said, for the building that previously used by Bina Marga and Water Management Department will be demolished hindquarters only and the front will be renovated.
"We only demolish the hindquarters of Public Works building," she said.
Besides that, Transportation Department will be moved to the building that occupied by Tax Service Department at Jalan Abdul Muis, Central Jakarta. "Transportation Department's building will also be demolished and will be used as parking lot. They will move to Jalan Abdul Muis," she uttered.
