Heru Intensifies Planting of Horticultural Plants

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, symbolically returned to planting 1,000 trees under Becakayu Toll Road, Jalan Laksamana Malahayati, RT 01/16, Duren Sawit Urban Village, Duren Sawit Sub-district, East Jakarta. This time, various types of horticultural plants such as oranges, aloe vera, and crystal guava were planted in the area.

This tree planting is the result of synergy with PT Antam Tbk in realizing net zero emission in 2060. It is carried out in stages in the three-kilometer land under the Becakayu Toll Road and other locations in Duren Sawit.
"This is the umpteenth time I, as well as East Jakarta Mayor and KPKP Agency have planted trees. Today, there are 500 horticultural fruit trees planted," he expresses, Friday (4/28).

"Including useful or fruitful trees. I have also discussed the new point, where we will plant again at PIK," he asserted.
PT Antam Tbk Operation and Production Director, I Dewa Wirantaya added the tree planting is part of corporate social responsibility towards the environment. Every year, his party targets to contribute a two percent reduction in net zero emission carbon.
"Efforts made internally are to streamline energy and divert the use of fossil energy to new energy. Externally, we're synergizing with the Jakarta Provincial Government by planting trees so that we are able to realize net zero emissions in 2060," he stated.
