On Friday (4/28), under the Becakayu toll road, the Jakarta Government in synergy with PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) launched an action to plant 1,000 trees for NZE 2060.

Meanwhile, Antam's plants totaled 1,000 trees with details, as many as 600 trees had been planted on the land under Becakayu toll road and 400 trees were planted today (4/28), consisting of fruit trees, ornamental plants, vegetable plants, and protective plants. Then, at this event, 209 shade trees were also planted from the Jakarta Parks and Forest Agency.
Thus far, Jakarta Maritime, Fishery, and Food Security Agency has planted a total of 5,565 trees, consisting of fruit plants, medicinal plants, chilies, and other vegetable plants in the land under Becakayu toll road.
Operation and Production Director, I Dewa Wirantaya revealed the synergy that carried out together with the Jakarta Government was a form of the company's commitment to support the achievement of NZE 2060.
"Antam as a corporation has a social responsibility towards the environment. In an effort to realize the NZE, we have a target of reducing 2% net zero emission carbon each year. Hence, Antam is synergizing with the Jakarta Jakarta Provincial Government as one of the efforts to achieve this target," he explained.
Antam's participation is expected to encourage other BUMNs to jointly green Jakarta, while increasing food availability and reducing people's poverty.
