Peace and Public Order Patrols Intensified on Untung Jawa Island

The Seribu Islands Satpol PP has intensified counseling and patrols regarding peace and public order (tramtibum) and community protection in the context of preventing child kidnapping on Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands.

Untung Jawa Urban Village Satpol PP Head, Basahir said the patrol is based on the decision of the Jakarta Satpol PP Head Number e-0007/2023 on Counseling and Guidance on Tramtibum and Community Protection related to the rampant rumors circulating in various mass and social media regarding the crime of child kidnapping.

"Five Satpol PP officers together with the Untung Jawa Island Latamal Post intensified socialization by placing stickers and calling for anticipatory prevention of child kidnapping crimes," he said, Friday (5/5).

He explained the patrol itself had been touched SDN 01 Pagi Pulau Untung Jawa, Amiterdam RPTRA, and Karang Taruna Post on Untung Jawa Island. It aims to create a sense of security and comfort to the community, especially elementary school students.

"It's our job. We remind parents to keep improving supervision of their children, both at school and in their home environment," he stated.

Untung Jawa Urban Village Head, Supriyadi supports and appreciates what officers do with students and children. This effort is expected to prevent unwanted things, especially school children kidnapping.

"Hopefully, this socialization will also produce knowledge for parents to be more careful looking after their children," he hoped.
