The Central Jakarta administration is about to strengthen guarding and supervision in Tanah Abang Market area before Ramadan.
"It needs to be more supervision because of high activity in Tanah Abang area during Ramadan," expressed Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma, Sunday (3/19).

"We'll set it up later. We'll see the situation first," he said.
It was focused on Tanah Abang Market area, one of which was overcoming the problem of traffic jams due to the influx of many visitor vehicles.
"Parking control lies in the Transportation Sub-agency. We will do it optimally but this is just situational, depending on the density of the vehicle," he explained.
Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Wildan Anwar added that as many as 100 personnel with two towing and patrol cars would soon be deployed to Tanah Abang.
"The most crucial points at Tanah Abang Market are in front of Block A, F, and towards Jalan Kebon Kacang. At these locations, we will intensify guarding," he explained.
He asserted personnel would also drive away vehicles from stopping on the side of the road to parse traffic jams.
"We will take firm action," he stated.
