Heru Inaugurates Bank DKI Learning Center to Strengthen HR Transformation

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono inaugurated the Learning Center Bank on Jalan Wijaya, South Jakarta, Friday (5/12).

The Learning Center facility is a training and competency development institution for Bank DKI employees. This inauguration is part of Bank DKI's commitment to preparing competent human resources with strong character to face banking challenges in the future.

It was also attended by Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy; Jakarta & Banten Financial Services Authority Regional Office 1 Head, Roberto Akyuwen; Bank Indonesia Jakarta Representative Office Head, Dr. Arlyana Abubakar; Jakarta BPBUMD Head, Dr. Nasrudin Djoko Surjono; Jakarta Provincial Government officials, BUMD Management ranks, as well as commissioners and directors of Bank DKI.

The Acting Governor congratulated and appreciated the inauguration of the Bank DKI Learning Center. As a training unit, the Bank DKI Learning Center is an innovation and a good example for other BUMDs in developing employee capabilities to improve the quality of services provided to the community.

Aside that, the Bank DKI Learning Center plays a very important role in producing BUMD personnel who are ready to compete on the national stage and contribute through thinking and innovation for the development of Jakarta.

"Hopefully, this new facility can improve customer service and others in this building, so that later Bank DKI can become a model bank and become a bank that continues to transform even better," he explained, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

Bank DKI President Director, Fidri Arnaldy explained, this inauguration is a very important momentum for Bank DKI in presenting an innovative and modern learning center as part of Bank DKI's transformation.

"Bank DKI's Learning Center is a spirit in realizing the generation of transformative and highly competent human resources of Bank DKI, and is a concrete form of contribution in welcoming the vision of Indonesia Gold in 2045. Moreover, Bank DKI employees as of April 2023 totaled 3,778 people, with details 2,223 people or 59% of them are millennial generation, 28% are generation Z and the remaining 14% are generation X as mentors for young employees," he explained.

Built with a millennial, cozy and hi-tech concept, the Bank DKI Learning Center stands on an area of 1,200 square meters with four floors. Equipped with a number of supporting facilities including: a comfortable and modern training room with Wi-Fi and LED Screen, Mini Bank Lab, Dining Area, Lounge, Computer Room, Assessment Room, Instructor Room, and Studio Area.

Additionally, supporting facilities such as ATMs, DKI Bank Service Offices, mosques, and parking lots. It includes the development of a learning platform with the latest information technology, namely the Learning Management System (LMS) application as an independent and flexible learning tool, as well as technology-based infrastructure that enables online or hybrid learning.

The curriculum developed at the Learning Center keeps up with the times and is accompanied by experienced instructors. Bank DKI Learning Center has also succeeded in obtaining a Registration Certificate for a Job Training Institute from Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency. With this decree, the Bank DKI Learning Center has been recognized as a Job Training Unit that is competent in issuing Training Certificates in the Payment System and Rupiah Money Management (SPPUR) sector and organizing Job Training Programs in the SPPUR field.

"We have prepared a big plan to turn the Bank DKI Learning Center into a Corporate University, which is a certified HR competency development institution. Which is not only internal for Bank DKI, including BUMD and other BUMNs, but also the general public," he stated.
