The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agenc is about to build 13 water channels and crossing channels in different locations. It aims to prevent inundation when it rains.

Development and Drainage Improvement Division Headz Horas Yosua said the 13 channels development is to follow up on residents' aspirations from 2022 Musrenbang.
According to him, some of the locations have yet to have adequate channels, as they do not function optimally and often trigger inundation during the rainy season.

He explained the work had been socialized to locals, except for development on Jalan Adityawarman, Melawai Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district and on Jalan Kalibata Timur IV and Jalan Kalibata Raya, Pancoran Sub-district, socialization will be carried out on Friday (5/19) the day after tomorrow and Monday (5/22) next week.
In details, those 13 channels are being built on Jalan Ciputat Raya (ARMCO), Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama along 658 meters. In this location, the channel uses box culvert measuring 1,200 x 1,200 centimeters and 3,000 x 3,000 centimeters.
Then the development of Kalibata Connection Channel Crossing on Jalan Kalibata Timur IV and Jalan Kalibata Raya, which stretches in two areas of Kalibata and Rawajati Sub-districts with 75.3 meters long. This crossing uses U-Ditch concrete measuring 2,500 x 2,500 centimeters and box culvert measuring 2,500 x 2,500 centimeters.
Further, the construction of Asem Baris Connection Channel Crossing, Kebon Baru, Tebet with 1,693.9 meters long using U-Ditch concrete measuring 2,000 x 2,000 centimeters, box culvert measuring 1,200 x 1,200 centimeters, 1,500 x 1,500 centimeters and 2,000 x 2,000 centimeters.
Development of a water channel on Jalan Pengadegan Barat III, Pengadegan, Pancoran with 280 meters long, using U-Ditch measuring 400 x 400 centimeters, 600 x 600 centimeters and 800 x 800 centimeters.
Then development of a water channel on Jalan Menteng Atas Selatan I, Menteng Atas, Setiabudi with 668.5 meters long, using U-Ditch 600 x 600 centimeters, 800 x 800 centimeters and box culvert measuring 800 x 800 centimeters.
Development of a water channel on Jalan Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa with 994 meters long, using U-Ditch 800 x 800 centimeters and box culvert measuring 800 x 800 centimeters.
Development of a 632-meter-long water channel on Jalan Timbul, Cipedak, Jagakarsa, using U-Ditch 600 x 600 centimeters, 800 x 800 centimeters and box culvert measuring 800 x 800 centimeters.
Aside that, the development of a 257-meter-long water channel on Jalan H Ami, Cipete Selatan, Cilandak, uses U-Ditch measuring 600x600 centimeters, and box culvert 800x800 centimeters.
The water channel on Jalan Adityawarman, Melawai Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru is 168.1 meters long using U-Ditch 1,200 x 1,200 centimeters and box culvert 2,000 x 2,000 centimeters. The water channel on Jalan Gunuk, Pejaten Timur, Pasar Minggu is 871 meters long using U-Ditch 400 x 400 centimeters, box culvert measuring 600 x 600 centimeters and 800 x 800 centimeters.
Development of the canal on Jalan Tebet Utara I, Tebet Timur, Tebet is 645.8 meters long, using U-Ditch 600 x 600 centimeters and measuring 1,000 x 1,000 centimeters. The channel on Jalan H. Raya, Gandaria Utara, Kebayoran Baru is 721.2 meters long, using U-Ditch 600 x 600 inches, 800 x 800 inches, 1,000 x 1,000 centimeters and box culvert measuring 800 x 800 and measuring 1,000 x 1,000 centimeters.
Laslty, the water channel at Jalan Batu Merah, Pejaten Timur, Pasar Minggu is 1,442 meters long using U-Ditch 600 x 600 centimeters, 800 x 800 centimeters and box culvert measuring 800 x 800 centimeters.
